MIKE HUNDZA BScPT, FCAMT (Registered Physiotherapist & Manual Therapist)

Mike has been practicing as a physiotherapist for over 20 years after graduating from the University of Alberta in 1990. Mike completed his post-graduate Advanced Certification in Manual and Manipulation Therapy in 1999 . He moved to Victoria with his wife and two children in 1995. Mike has enjoyed an extensive and successful career in the treatment of musculo-skeletal injuries related to sports, work, motor vehicle accidents/whiplash and postural related conditions.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Initial assessment and ALL subsequent visits are approximately 40 minutes in length. No other clients are booked into your scheduled time. Because Mike sees only one client at a time, he is able to offer individual/one-one care that meets your needs.

Mike uses a biomechanical approach to solving musculo-skeletal problems and designs solutions that are tailored for you. Mike uses a variety of techniques such as: Manual Therapy, Mobilization, Manipulation, Adjustments, Massage, Passive Stretching, Active Release, Ultrasound, Manual Traction, Postural Correction/Advice, Exercises and Ergonomic Advice.

Mike has been a member of the National Orthopaedic Executive of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association as well as Editor for a National Orthopaedic Journal. He continues to teach and mentor physiotherapist's in their post-graduate Advanced Certification education and has previously taught courses in Orthopaedic Pathology at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Mike consistently strives for the best evidence to help design the appropriate treatment plan for you.

Dr. LYNNE MACKEAN, BScPT, MD, FRCPC, CASM Diploma in Sport Medicine

Dr. MacKean is a Medical Doctor with a specialty in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. In order to see Dr. MacKean you would need a referral from a Physician. The focus of Dr. MacKean's practice is on the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, including sport-related injuries.
